Broncos' Manning Begins Working with Welker

Well, that didn't take long.

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning will begin working with his new toy this week—wide receiver Wes Welker.

Welker signed a two-year, $12 million deal with the Broncos last month and recently told ESPN's "Mike and Mike in the Morning" that he will begin working with Manning this week.

"We (have talked) about the offense and stuff like that.  I'll be working with him next week and start to get that process going," Welker told ESPN last Wednesday.

The Broncos will begin official (voluntary) team workouts in one week on Monday, April 15.  Rookie minicamp will be held in May and mandatory minicamp will he held in June.

Denver's 2013 training camp practices are expected to begin on or near Thursday, July 25th.
